A compelling food-web simulator where you construct, manage, and upgrade a rain-forest ecosystem while protecting it from natural disasters.
This was a solo project
Implemented node based food-web system with semi-realistic depiction of feedback loops seen in the natural food chain in C# and Unity
Implemented natural disaster system and action chips that turned the simulation into a rougelike game
Implemented an intuitive tutorial and effective player feedback system via text log that conveys the events of the simulation and visual cues on each node
Demonstrated ability to program quickly and effectively outside of my comfort zone due to 4 day time constraint
Over-scoping - My initial idea was good, but due to over-scoping I didn't have time execute on the idea. The end product ended up being more of a score chaser than the rougelike that I intended, which made it less captivating in my opinion.
